大阪市内にある、コーポラティブハウスの一室を改修した。

都市における住まい方を考える上で、内外の関係性は主題の一つである。

この住宅では一部をその他から切り離したような設えとすることで、母屋と離れのような関係性を生み出し、"その間"に内部性と外部性を併せ持った内外の曖昧な環境を提案する。

住戸は角部屋で南と東の2面採光となっていて、南東部分に外部に出っ張るような形でスペースが設けてある、集合住宅にしては珍しいプランをしていた。コーポラティブハウスであるからこそ生まれたプランといえる。

この変形プランを逆手に取り、出っ張ったスペースを斜めに切り取るような形でキッチンとして設え、元々この集合住宅で使用されていた外壁タイルを用いて外部と連続するような壁を配置した。

さらにプライベートな機能を北側にまとめることで、キッチン（離れ）と私的な部屋（母屋）の間に、南と東の2面の開口を繋ぐようなリビングが生まれた。

このリビングは、外部への広がりを感じる内部であり、外部を取り込んだ中庭のような空間でもある。

内部的であり外部的である空間が、都市と住宅との距離感を曖昧にし、開放感や安心感といった矛盾した感覚を共存させる。多様化の進む都市において、このような曖昧性のある環境が様々な生き方を受け容れる住宅としての役割を担っていくのではないだろうか。

 

The renovation project of a cooperative house in Osaka city.

When thinking about how to live in a city, internal and external relationships are one of the subjects.

In this house, a part of the interior is separated from the others, creating a relationship like separation from the main building, and proposing an ambiguous environment inside and outside that has both internal and external characteristics between them we do.

The dwelling unit was a corner room, so it had two sides , the south and east, faced outside. However, there was a space in the southeast part like protruded outside, so it was a rare plan for an apartment complex. It is a plan born because it is a cooperative house.

We used this rare plan and set it up as a kitchen in such a way that the protruding space was cut off diagonally, and a wall that was connected to the outside was arranged using the exterior wall tiles originally used in this apartment complex.

Putting private functions on the north side creates a living room that connects the south and east openings between the kitchen (hanare) and the private room (main building).

This living room is an interior that feels spread to the outside, and it is also a space like a courtyard that incorporates the outside.

The space that is both internal and external blurs the sense of distance between the city and the house, and makes the inconsistent senses of openness and security coexist.

In an increasingly diversified city, such an ambiguous environment may play a role as a housing that accepts various ways of living.
