埼玉県の美容サロンをデザインした。

数年前までこの場所は床屋であったため、”身嗜みを整える”という意味では、コンテクストを引き継ぐことになる。

店先の公園は、良好な日当たりと程良い植栽のおかげで、駅から近いにもかかわらずちょっとした癒やしスポットになっている。

この店を訪れた人もリラックスして、心地よく美しくなってほしい。

このような思いを込めて設計した。

ベッドで横になった時に安心できるよう、腰壁は公園の緑を引き込むような落ち着いた色のリノリウム仕上げとし、また、壁と天井は見上げた時に柔らかく包み込むような淡い色の珪藻土仕上げとしている。

棚・机・洗面台・カウンターなどの様々な家具什器は、リノリウムと珪藻土の見切り材としても機能し、空間の上下の切り替えを強調している。この上下に別れた空間的特性が、逆に内部空間全体の統一感をつくり、心身を整える助けとなることを期待している。

さらにここでは、壁・天井・木部・外壁など、大部分の仕上げを施主とともに施工した。

設備機器・建具・枠・タイル目地の珪藻土仕上げなどは施工実験を重ねて決定した。このような製作過程における試みは、コストを抑えるだけではない自主施工ならではの醍醐味といえる。

 

The design for a beauty salon in Saitama.

Until a few years ago, the store was a barber, so it took over the context of adjusting one's appearance.

There is a park at the front of the salon, where the parents and children play on sunny days. The park is well-planted with trees and plants, which heals visitors despite being close to the station.

We want visitors to relax and be beautiful.

When you lie down on your bed, we want you to soak in a relaxed state like sinking by finishing the walls and floor below the waist with a calm green finish that pulls in the green of the park.

The walls and the ceiling above the waist are made of pale pink diatomaceous earth, so that you feel soft and wrapped when looking up.

By installing furniture for various uses such as shelves, desks, wash basins, counters, as parting materials for the upper and lower spaces, we hope to create a sense of unity in the entire space and help you to improve mind and body.

We designed with such thoughts in mind.

In addition, most of the finishing work, including walls, ceilings, xylems, and outer walls, was carried out together with the owner.

Experimental trials in the making process, such as diatomaceous earth finishing of equipment, fittings, frames, and tile joints, which are not often seen in ordinary construction, are worth the real pleasure of DIY that not only reduces costs.
